The awards event was held Saturday, December 10, 2011, at the Oakland Public Library, Rockridge Branch, College Avenue at Lawton, North Oakland.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
ADAM DAVID MILLER received Berkeley Poetry Festival's
Lifetime Achievement Award in May 2011.
The awards event celebrating Bay Area poets was held at the Berkeley City College Auditorium. Joyce Jenkins, of Poetry Flash, gave the award. Louis Cuneo, creator of the Berkeley Poetry Festival, chose Mr. Miller for the Award due to the many community activities that Mr. Miller has fostered to promote poetry in Berkeley and beyond, including helping to create the Addison Street Poetry Walk.
